What Is BedWars and How It Works

In BedWars, each player or team starts on their own island with iron and gold generators. The bed serves as the respawn anchor—if it stays intact, you can respawn. Once destroyed, death is permanent. It requires strategy, PvP and teamwork.

You can play on both Java Edition and Bedrock Edition, as long as the server supports cross-play.

How to Play BedWars: Step‑by‑Step Tutorial

  1. Connect to the server: use the server’s IP address.
  2. Find BedWars: in the lobby or hub, look for NPCs or portals labeled “BedWars”.
  3. Explore the menu/hotbar: slots typically offer:
    • Gadget shop
    • Daily quests
    • Settings and preferences
  4. Choose a game mode: common modes include:
    • Solo (1v1)
    • Duo (2v2)
    • Trio
    • Squad (quartet)
    • Voidless
    • Rush
  5. Wait for the match to start: it begins automatically when the minimum players join.
  6. During the match: teams begin on their islands with iron and gold generators. In the center of the map:
